This semester, Army non-commissioned officer Lee Burke has joined PWSC as an instructional assistant through the Department of Defense Skillbridge Transition Assistance Program. This program enables active-duty service members to transition out of their units early and work as civilian interns during their final months of service.

Prince William Sound College (PWSC) in Valdez, Alaska, is offering free tuition and housing to any Alaska high-school student who enrolls in any PWSC course. Students can pursue occupational endorsement certificates (OECs), work towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, or take dual-credit courses.
The loss of Sam has affected us all deeply. We will never forget her bright spirit and positive energy, and the news of her passing reaches beyond our city and campus.
