Housing Application
Application Deadline: Rolling application – first come, first serve. *If you are applying to housing after the agreement date, please email pwsc.housing@alaska.edu for further instructions.

Instructions for Completing the Housing Application:
- Log in using your UA username and password.
- Click Start Application.
- Verify Basic Profile Information – Confirm your name, Student ID, date of birth, and UA email address. If any information is incorrect, click the “Request an Edit” button and submit the correction form.
- Enter your phone number under “Personal Contact.”
- Complete the “Emergency Contacts” section.
- Complete the “Missing Person Contacts” section. This should be the individual PWSC will contact if you are reported missing for more than 24 hours. This person can be the same as your emergency contact or someone different. Both fields must be completed. Students under 18 must list their parent/guardian as both emergency and missing person contact.
- If you are under 18, complete the “Guardian” contact information. If the field is not visible, click “Add” to open a new contact field. Complete the section even if it’s a duplicate and label it as “Guardian.”
- Fill out the “Additional Info” section.
- Continue to the next section to complete the Housing Application. This section is brief and includes your housing preferences. While we do our best to accommodate your preferences, placement is not guaranteed and depends on overall housing availability.
- Complete the Student Questionnaire – it should open automatically after the application section. If not, access it from your dashboard. You’ll be asked whether you want your responses to be visible to others; this can be updated later.
- Review your dashboard for additional required forms and documents. All forms must be completed before your move-in date. TB test results must show a test date within 30 days of your scheduled move-in.
- Agreement Signature – The first time you sign, you’ll be asked to draw or type your digital signature. Once stored, clicking the signature box will automatically insert it. Note: the system does not ask for confirmation before inserting your signature—it will apply and submit immediately once clicked.
- Final Note: Submitting your Housing Application, Student Questionnaire, and signed Housing Agreement will initiate your housing request. However, your application and bed assignment will not be confirmed until all required forms are submitted and approved. Incomplete applications may result in delays to your move-in.
