Student Spotlight: Danielle Tryon – Mapping Alaska’s Marine Ecosystems Through Independent Research
Attention science enthusiasts! Join us for the third PWSC Environmental Sciences Symposium, which will feature student research on May 2, 2025. Danielle Tryon, a marine natural resources technician student, will present her work on Prince William Sound. Utilizing GIS and R statistical software, she will analyze environmental data to identify trends in sea surface temperatures and climate change impacts, collaborating with the Prince William Sound Science Center to share this information with educators, policymakers and the public.
