PWSC Raises Over $8,000 for Scholarships During UA Giving Day!

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support during UA Giving Day. Thanks to you, we raised vital funds for the PWSC Scholarship Fund, directly supporting our deserving students.

Here’s how it all came together:

  • $1,720 from 33 online donors

  • $1,500 in corporate gifts from Copper Valley Telecom, Valdez Native Tribe, and Petro Star

  • A fun and successful hide-and-seek moose hunt, with winners Martina Gersach and Sarah Hanson choosing the SkillsUSA agency fund to receive the $500 microgrant

And thanks to the incredible support of our community, PWSC won the Community Campus Funds Challenge, earning an additional $5,000 for having the highest number of donors among UAA community campuses!
