Prince William Sound College (PWSC) provides free tuition and housing to any high
school student from Alaska who enrolls in the Occupational Endorsement Certificate
(OEC) program in Marine Services Technology. Students have the option to pursue occupational
endorsement certificates, work towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, or take
dual-credit courses.
Dual-credit courses provide both high school and college credit. They are an excellent
opportunity for Alaska high school juniors and seniors who want to explore potential
career paths, prepare for entering the workforce after graduation, or earn college-level
credits that can be transferred to a more advanced degree program. This opportunity
will continue to be available to Alaska high school students through the spring semester
of 2025.
The spring semester begins January 13, 2025 and registration is now open. For more information on this incredible opportunity for Alaska high-school students or to enroll a student, contact PWSC Student Services by phone at 907-834-1600 ext. 3 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or email pwsc.student.services@alaska.edu.
