by V. Heisser |
Congratulations to Katie Bobowski on presenting at the North American Association
for Environmental Education 2024 Conference in Pittsburgh, PA!
Katie led a Bright Spot presentation highlighting the collaborative efforts of PWSC and its federal, state, and tribal partners in designing and delivering innovative Occupational Endorsement Certificate programs in natural resources. The session, titled "Collaborative Development and Delivery of Post-Secondary Experiential Natural Resource Education," showcased the success of these place-based, hands-on programs in transforming how students learn about and interact with the natural world.
By fostering collaboration across diverse sectors, PWSC prepares students for meaningful careers in natural resources while strengthening vital connections to the land and communities they serve. This partnership model is not just a bright spot for education—it's a powerful example of how working together can lead to real, impactful change for students and the environment.
