Originally from East Texas, Gabe Hendrix has lived in Valdez for almost twelve years. During his time in high school, Hendrix was interested in science and enjoyed reading. Now as he begins college, he's interested in learning about himself and getting outside of his comfort zone.
Ben’s experience is vast and varied. Most recently he served as an assistant professor of the Outdoor Education Leadership and Tourism Department at Northern Vermont University. Prior to that, he taught in Taiwan for more than 20 years. He has a deep connection to Asia and the outdoor program he helped build over his 20-year tenure there. Rush has recently returned to Alaska and to what he considers his dream job…and he definitely lives what he teaches.
Over the summer, Megan Gunderson joined Prince William Sound College as an information technology specialist. Megan has a wealth of knowledge and experience with both teaching and technology. She is an excellent addition to PWSC!
Kaela has had a busy summer as an intern for the BLM. From helping with administrative duties to assisting with youth camp outdoor activities, she has done a little bit of everything and has learned a lot throughout her experience.
