PWSC is now offering an Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Web Engineering. This is a series of courses that will prepare students for careers as web designers or bolster their office and administrative skill set.

PWSC is offering free tuition and housing to any Alaska high-school student who enrolls in any PWSC course. Students can pursue occupational endorsement certificates (OECs), work towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, or take dual-credit courses.

Attention all science enthusiasts! We are excited to announce the upcoming First Annual PWSC Environmental Sciences Symposium featuring four students presenting their marine research projects and three presenting their Natural History of Alaska posters. Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council funded the students' independent research projects this semester, and NASA SpaceGrant funded the summer research fellow.

Under the guidance of Dr. Amanda Glazier, Sarah Kearns is conducting an independent research project funded by Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council this semester. Her research involves measuring baseline water chemistry at the Valdez Native Tribe (VNT) experimental oyster farm and two other comparative sites.
