Confined Space. Real Skills. Real Safety.

Our Millwright students recently completed a focused, one-day Confined Space Training centered on practical safety in industrial environments. Throughout the day, they covered key topics including PPE use, chemical safety, atmospheric hazards, lockout/tagout procedures, and rescue planning.

Confined space work comes with real risks. The class reinforced the importance of being prepared, staying alert, and always following safety protocols.

We were grateful to have Lieutenant Bryan Vincent—a long-time member of the Valdez Fire Department—lead this training and share his expertise. His instruction gave our students practical skills they can use in their future careers.
