PWSC offers Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) class this fall

Are you interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)? Providence Valdez Medical Center promotes CNAs and trainees/students by offering a dynamic healthcare program. Providence offers full tuition reimbursement to students who become PVMC employees, provided that they successfully become certified within 120 days of completing the class.

The next PWSC class will take place from September 9 to October 24. The classroom sessions are scheduled from September 9 to October 10, with classes running Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The final two weeks of the course, from October 14 to 24, will consist of six-hour clinical days, adding up to 48 hours of clinical work. Participants are required to have Hartman's Nursing Assistant Careā€”The Basics, 6th Edition textbook.
