Class spotlight: Sam Campbell's Global Literature and Culture class

They draw parallels between these stories and modern media through discussions, discovering how themes like love, heroism, and mortality transcend time. Are you interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)? Providence Valdez Medical Center promotes CNAs and trainees/students by offering a dynamic healthcare program. Providence offers full tuition reimbursement to students who become PVMC employees, provided that they successfully become certified within 120 days of completing the class. The next PWSC class will occur from January 13 to February 27, 2024.

Raife Bowman earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Outdoor Leadership from Prince William Sound College and became a certified Wilderness EMT and AIARE Level 1. Raife founded Arctic Field Craft, focusing on outdoor adventures that connect people with nature. As his business grew, he balanced his roles as an entrepreneur, husband, and father, eventually taking an opportunity to work in Antarctica. We recently met with him to learn about his experiences in Antarctica.
