Student spotlight: Lisa Yoder
by Vicki Heisser |
This fall, PWSC's new outdoor leadership students are committed to learning practical
outdoor skills and gaining a profound respect for nature, which will help shape them
into the leaders they aspire to be. Throughout the program, they will learn to navigate
the complexities of outdoor leadership and acquire the essential skills necessary
for outdoor careers.
One such student, Lisa Yoder, sees Alaska and the outdoor leadership program as places
to test her abilities. The program will equip her with the skills for outdoor careers and help foster a deep
respect for nature's power and beauty, and Lisa is excited for this experience to
shape her into the leader she hopes to become.
She shares, "One of my greatest passions is exploring nature, and my goal through
this program is to gain the experience I need to pursue a career where I can explore
and share my love for the outdoors with others."
Welcome to PWSC's outdoor leadership program, Lisa! We are committed to your growth
and look forward to seeing the wonderful things you will do. Your journey is one we
are excited to be a part of!
