Employee spotlight: Jason Tippetts
by Vicki Heisser |
We are thrilled to introduce Jason Tippetts, our new instructional design and technology
specialist. Jason and his family, who are from Utah, will be joining us. He has a
passion for technology and helping others, experience troubleshooting issues in a
school environment, and a degree in political science.
Jason has lived in various places. Although he attended high school in Idaho, he feels
he's from there. Since getting married, he has lived in Nevada, Washington, Utah,
and China. His family and in-laws primarily reside in Utah, so they frequently visit
there regardless of where they live.
Jason and his wife have four children. Their oldest is currently a student at Brigham
Young University in Provo, UT, where they used to live. Haylee is in high school,
Boston is in middle school, and Summer is in elementary school. Jason is competitive. He loves sports, especially basketball and volleyball. His interest
in running, which began after an ACL replacement, has led him to conquer several marathons.
For Jason, sports are enjoyable, and running is for health and weight control.
Before joining us, Jason taught middle school computer science and introductory programming
courses. His enthusiasm for technology is contagious, and if anyone is facing tech
troubles, Jason is always ready to lend a helping hand.
