Third Annual PWSC Environmental Sciences Symposium - May 2, 2025.

 

The Symposium highlights independent student research projects completed throughout the school year. This year’s projects cover a range of exciting topics, including eDNA sampling, microplastics in sediment and water samples collected from Port Valdez waters, phytoplankton and water chemistry research at the PWSC Mariculture Research Site, kelp nursery research, and much more.

These student-driven research efforts are made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Alaska EPSCoR, the Alaska Blue Economy Center, and the Alaska Mariculture Cluster.

Light refreshments will be provided.
