We were honored to host the Golden Opportunities Luncheon & Golden Rock Awards—a joyful celebration of community spirit, local talent, and Valdez pride!
To kick off the 63rd Annual Valdez Gold Rush Days, we gathered for an afternoon filled with connection, recognition, and fun:

🏆 The Golden Rock Awards, presented by the Valdez Community Garden, celebrating the gardeners who help our
community bloom
💃 Lively performances by the Little Kickers and CanCan Girls that brought smiles to every face
🍔 A delicious lunch shared among friends, neighbors, and guests of all ages
A heartfelt thank you to Jay and Cherise for stepping up in a big way—grilling hot dogs and burgers and helping make the event a success in Steve and Shannon’s absence.
