Are you interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)? Providence Valdez Medical Center promotes CNAs and trainees/students by offering a dynamic healthcare program. Providence offers full tuition reimbursement to students who become PVMC employees, provided that they successfully become certified within 120 days of completing the class.

The next PWSC class will take place from September 8, 2025, to October 23, 2025. Classroom sessions are scheduled from September 8 to February 13, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The last two weeks of the course, from October 13 to October 23, will include six-hour clinical days, totaling 48 hours of clinical practice. Participants must have the textbook "Hartman's Nursing Assistant Care—The Basics, 6th Edition."
