Quickly learn and develop skills for employability in the construction industry. This program can be completed in 1 semester at PWSC in Valdez, Alaska!
The Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Construction curriculum prepares students for a career in construction by teaching them practical skills in residential or small facility maintenance and repair in 1 semester through hands-on training. Students will learn basic carpentry, weatherization, plumbing, and electrical skills. Completing the coursework can help students obtain a State of Alaska General Contractor - Handyman license.
