Marine Service Technology
Students can complete this program in one semester
Students who complete the Marine Service Technology program will be prepared to complete:
- American Boat and Yacht Council Certification
- Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC)
- Equipment and Engine Training Council (EETC) certification in small engines
Fall semester classes start August 23rd, 2021 and will end November 23, 2021. Spring semester classes will begin January 10, 2022 and will end April 14, 2022.
In a typical week, students will start at 8 am and attend class until 3:30 pm from Monday through Friday. Students will live in PWSC's residential housing.

Meet The Professor
Anthony Gerasch Jr
Marine Service Technology Instructor, Anthony Gerasch, began working at Prince William Sound college in March of 2020. He has an associate degree in Marine Engine Technology as well as an associate degree in Power Sports Technology from Minnesota State Detroit Lakes. As an ambitious marine and power sport technician himself, he is inspired to help others learn while continuing to educate himself every day.
