The Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Marine Service Technology prepares students for technician-level work in the maritime industry. Students graduating with an OEC in Marine Service Technology will be able to perform a variety of troubleshooting, installation, services, and repairs to marine systems. These courses cover carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. The sessions will be a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on skill building and training.

Grant Funding Available
Grant funding covers tuition and fees and student housing. To qualify for grant funding, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 16 years old OR a current Alaska high school or homeschool student (only for spring 2025 or summer 2025 semester).
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- PWSC Housing is covered for full-time students (12+ credits) in the program.
Grant funding is contingent on academic performance. Funding will only cover courses where a grade of C or higher is achieved. If a student earns a grade of D, F, W, or I, the student will be responsible for covering the remaining balance for those courses.
