The Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Marine Service Technology prepares students for technician-level work in the maritime industry. Students graduating with an OEC in Marine Service Technology will be able to perform a variety of troubleshooting, installation, services, and repairs to marine systems. These courses cover carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. The sessions will be a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on skill building and training.

Grants and scholarships
Alaska high-schoolers qualify for a grant that will cover all tuition and housing expenses for the Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 Semesters! Adult learners and non-high school students may be eligible for scholarships, grants, and other financial aid!
Student Housing
The PWSC Valdez Campus offers students fully furnished, apartment-style student housing. Both full-time and part-time students can live in our on-campus housing. Each residence has a laundry facility and lounge on site.
