New Natural Resource Technician Program at PWSC

PWSC is proud to offer the Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Natural Resources Technician program.
The PWSC Natural Resources Technician program is a 12-week intensive experience that covers the knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level position in a natural resources career. Students will take classes in Biota of Alaska, Conservation of Natural Resources, and Earth Science to name a few.
Students can complete this program in one semester or continue their education by completing additional OECs offered through the University of Alaska Anchorage system and then take additional credits to meet the sixty credits required to complete an associate degree.
The Occupational Endorsement Certifications are a fantastic way to quickly learn and develop skills for employability.
This program FREE to high school juniors and seniors with the help of funding through the DEED CRRSA Act.
