Past Trainings Hosted on Campus
During April and May 2015, the Shell Corporation used our facilities to conduct intensive arctic oil spill response training. Over 140 of their employees were on campus utilizing several spaces from large training rooms to intimate classrooms and computer labs. Each space met their instructor’s needs as they are fully equip with computers, large monitors, projectors, and smartboards. We were also able to help with coffee services and light catering. They enjoyed our facility and newly renovated atrium as well as a comfortable common area for breaks between classes.
In May 2015, Petro Star used our large training room for a Leadership Seminar conducted by a University of Alaska Anchorage instructor. We were able to provide coffee services and light breakfast as well as full catered lunches from our local restaurants.
